TAHINI CHOCOLATE MARBLE CAKE WITH COCONUT DARK CHOCOLATE MOUSSE FROSTING

Ingredients

(140 gram) : All purpose flour (Maida)
(100 gram) : Granulated Sugar (Powdered)
(200 ml) : Condensed Milk
(1 tsp) : Baking Powder
(1/2 tsp) : Baking Soda
(1/4 cup) : Refined oil
(1/4 cup) : Milk
(30 gram) : Cocoa powder
(1 tsp) : Vanilla essence
(1/4 cup) : White Sesame Paste with I tbsp olive oil
() : For Mousse:
(200 gram) : Dark chocolate compound
(100 gram) : Whipped Cream
(250 gram) : Coconut milk cream
(4 tbsp) : Icing sugar
(1 tsp) : Vanilla essence
() : For decoration:
(Handful) : Finely chopped roasted nuts
(1) : Piping bag with star nozzle

TAHINI CHOCOLATE MARBLE CAKE WITH COCONUT DARK CHOCOLATE MOUSSE FROSTING

Now a days, kids love chocolate cakes very much. But as we all know that too much of these is not good for kids. So thought of adding some nutritional value to the regular Chocolate cake. 

Today I made this cake...Using Tahini or sesame pasted with olive oil in my cake batter. It is a staple food in Mediterranean cuisine and extremely beneficial for  health. Sesame is a great source of different vitamins and minerals which help to fight cancer, burn fat, take care of our heart and many more. It also added a subtle nutty flavor in my cake.

Not only that I tried to make the mousse healthy and wholesome for kids. I have used coconut milk cream instead of non dairy whipped cream which has lots of added sugar. 

So this is a total make over of a normal chocolate cake to a healthy and wholesome chocolate cake.

And there was a real happy ending of this cake story as my kid enjoyed it to the core!!!!

Sieve together all purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda 3 times.

In a big bowl take condensed milk, vanilla, milk, oil and powdered sugar and beat until fluffy. Will take some time.

Add the dry ingredients into wet ingredients.

Mix with rubber spatula very gently.

Divide the batter into two parts. In one part mix Tahini paste and another part mix coco powder.

Preheat oven at 180 C for 10 minutes.

Start pouring batter in a greased loaf pan. Pour randomly.

Make some patterns with toothpick.

Bake 25-30 minutes in a preheated oven until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool it on a wire rack.

For the chocolate Mousse:

Heat non dairy whipped cream until bubble appears on top.

Pour this cream on chopped dark chocolates and melt the chocolate completely.

Refrigerate for 2 hours. After that take it out and beat it with electric beater.

Take coconut milk in a large and chilled bowl and whip it for 10 minutes until stiff peaks form.

Now add icing sugar, vanilla essence and beat again for 2 minutes.

Now add the chocolate Ganache in the whipped coconut cream and mix well.

Chocolate Mousse for frosting is ready.

Have to refrigerate it for 1 hour before frosting. Make designs of your choice.
