Ingredients

(1 Cup) : Rice Basmati Rice
(4 Tbspn) : Oil
(1 No) : Bay Leaf
(6 to 7 No) : Cloves
(1 to 2 Inches) : Cinnamon Stick
(To taste) : Salt
(Pinch) : Turmeric Powder
(1 Tspn) : Garam Masala
(1/2 Tspn) : Green Chilly Paste
(1/2 Tspn) : Garlic Paste
(1 No) : Potatoes Sliced
(1 No) : Red Onion Sliced
(1/2 No) : Green Bell pepper Sliced
(1/2 Cup) : Green Peas Blanched
(As required) : Water

Simple yet Healthy Pulao full of vegetables...

Cooking Rice

In a bowl wash the rice and soak for minimum half hour.

Cooking Rice

In a deep pan boil the water and add soaked rice, salt and 2 Tbspn oil.

Cook rice for sometime and than drain the excess water and pour cold water on the rice.

Now rice is ready.

In another pan heat oil. Add Bay leaf, cloves, cinnamon stick. Sauté them.

Now add green chilly paste, garlic paste and sauté for a while.

Add potatoes and sauté till they become soft.

Add onions into it. And sauté till they get pink.

Add Capsicum and sauté for a while.

Now add green peas. Sauté them.

Add garam Masala, salt, turmeric powder into it. Mix well.

Add cooked rice to it. Mix well but gently.

Pulao is ready. Serve hot...
