Methi Paneer Tarts

Today kids are very busy with their life. To give them proper nutritious food is a responsibility for mom. But they are very choosy also. Specially when it comes to vegetables and greens. To solve this problem today I have made a fusion dish...It is Methi paneer tarts. They are extremely delicious and kids just love them. It is full of nutrition because it has Methi, paneer, raisins and butter all good for kids.

🧺 Ingredients

  • For Tart
  • 100 gram All purpose flour (Maida)
  • 50 gram Butter
  • 1/2 tea spoon Sugar
  • To make to dough Ice cold water
  • A pinch Salt
  • For Methi Paneer
  • 1 bunch Methi Leaves
  • 1 table spoon 1 tblspn paste of ginger and garlic
  • 2 paste Onions
  • 3 table spoon Tomato Purée
  • 250 gram Paneer Cubes
  • 1 tea spoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1 tea spoon Cumin Powder
  • 1 tea spoon Coriander
  • 1/2 teabspoon Red chili powder
  • 2 tea spoon Garam Masala
  • 1 table spoon Ghee
  • To Taste Salt
  • 1 table spoon Sugar

👨‍🍳 Method — step by step

Add all ingredients for making tart and make a dough.

Roll out the dough 1/8" thick and place it on the tart moulds.

Prick the moulds with forks.

Place one butter paper over each mould and place some rajma over it.
It will prevent the tarts from getting swallowen.

Pre heat the oven at 180C for 10 minutes.

Bake the tarts for 25 minutes at 180C.

Now proceed with methi apnder.

Clean, chop and blunch the methi leaves.

Place under running cold water and cool.

Make a paste out of it.

Heat ghee in a pan.

Add cumin seed. When starts splattering add onion paste, ginger garlic paste , tomato puree and all dry masalas.

Cook until raw smell of tomato goes.

Now add the methi leave paste.

Mix with masalas and cook with some water for 5-6 minutes.

When oil starts to separate add raisins and paneer and again cook for 5 minutes.

It will be a dry preparation.

Now fill the tart shells with this methi paneer.

Top with grated cheese.

Grill with upper rod on for 5 minutes.

Serve delicious Methi Panter Tarts.
