Idli Takatak
Idli is well known recipe of South Indian cuisine it goes well with sambhar and chutney. But what if we have leftover idlies?? We can make some Takatak idli instantly for little hunger. Its so easy and quick preparation.
🧺 Ingredients
- Readymade idli (Leftover)4 Nos
- To Taste Salt
- 1 tspn Kashmiri red chilli powder
- 1/2 tspn Turmeric Powder
- Pinch Asafoetida
- 1 Tspn Garam Masala
- 2 TBSPN Oil
- 2 Tbspn Water
- 1/2 tspn Mustard Seeds
- For garnish Coriander Leaves
👨🍳 Method — step by step

In bowl cut the left over idlies into small biting size portions.

In a pan, heat oil. Add mastered seeds. Let them sputtered.
Add asafoetida, turmeric powder and red chilly powder. Add some water about 2 to 3 Tbspn. (As I used refrigerated idlies so I added water to make it soft)

Now add idlies, salt and garam masala and mix them well.

Saute them for 2 minutes add coriander leaves and serve hot.
