Oats is the healthiest food for any age group. We made it interesting with minimum ingredients so that babies can also enjoy it.

🧺 Ingredients

  • 100gms OatMeal (I used quaker plain oats)
  • 1 TBSPN Oil
  • 1/2 tspn Cumin Seeds
  • Pinch Turmeric Powder
  • To Taste Salt
  • 1/2 tspn Kashmiri Red Chilly Powder
  • Water (Or 1 cup)200 ml

👨‍🍳 Method — step by step

In a pan roast plain oats til it leaves some aroma. Same as we do for making upma from Rava.
Keep aside it in bowl.

Now in a pan heat oil and add cumin seeds. Allow it get cracked.

Now add oats, asafoetida, turmeric powder, red chilly powder and roast for a while. Just for half minute

Now add water and salt. Stirr continuesly.

If all water get absorb by oats and it's consistency like half than its ready.
